Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

August 15th is a Solemnity and a day of Obligation. All the parish priests are reminded to offer Missa Pro Populo on this day as on every Sunday. Let us celebrate on this day the twin feasts of Assumption of Our Lady and the Independence Day of our nation in a meaningful way.
