Feast of St. John Marie Vianney

The feast of the patron of all parish priests and all priests falls on the 4th of August, giving us an impetus to recharge our vigour for Christ emulating the powerful example of the simple priest of Ars. His undaunted and untiring ministry of the Sacrament of Reconciliation stands witness to his renown. His extraordinary life of prayer & mortification, his heroic dedication to the Word of God are important points of reference for our priestly ministry.
